ABOUT US

OUR STORY

An alternative educational pathway for students who find mainstream education challenging β€” built on belief, bespoke learning and genuine care.

Founded on belief in every learner.

Kirsty Burridge has always had a strong passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their potential. After gaining her teaching qualifications in 2000, she began her career working in schools in Milton Keynes before later settling in Wiltshire.

In response to the increasing need for personalised and flexible education, Kirsty founded Blue Sky Learning Centre in 2019. Her vision was to create a nurturing environment focused on bespoke learning, where education is tailored to meet the individual needs of every child.

Kirsty’s child-centred and innovative approach to education quickly gained recognition, leading to local authorities approaching her to develop Alternative Provision settings. Her commitment continues to centre around providing supportive, inclusive environments where young people can feel safe, valued, and able to thrive in their learning journey.
