Our Policy
Blue Sky Learning works with children and families as part of its activities. The purpose of our online safety policy is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is paramount when using the internet, social media or mobile devices.
We believe that children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind, and that children should be able to use the internet for education and personal development with safeguards in place.

How We Keep Children Safe
Specific guidance for staff and volunteers on how to behave online, covering all devices and platforms.
Supporting young people to use the internet, social media and mobile phones safely and respectfully.
Encouraging parents and carers to take an active role in keeping their children safe online at home.
Regular review and update of information system security, user accounts and data protection.
Images of children used only with written permission and only for the agreed purpose.
All social media platforms and new technologies are examined and risk-assessed before use.
Keep communication open.
Set parental controls where appropriate.
Know which apps your child uses.
Encourage children to talk if something online worries them.
Agree family screen time expectations.
Remind children never to share personal information.
