Our Stance

Zero tolerance for bullying of any kind

We provide a caring and safe place for all our children so that they can learn and play in a relaxed and secure environment. We believe that bullying of any kind is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people, to keep them safe and operate in a way that protects them.

We Recognise That

Bullying causes real distress and affects health and development

All children have the right to equal protection from all types of harm

Everyone has a role to play in preventing and stopping bullying

Types of Bullying

What bullying can look like

Verbal

Name-calling, saying nasty things about a child or their family.

Physical

Hitting, pushing or physically assaulting another child.

Emotional

Making threats, undermining, or excluding a child from friendships or activities.

Cyberbullying

Online abuse including threats, hacking accounts, sharing images or trolling.
